Ubaldo received his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from the University of Miami School of Law where he was an active member of the Law Review, The Honor Council, The Society of Bar and Gavel and The Hispanic Law Students' Association.  Ubaldo's involvement in his community has included past service on the Board of Directors for Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc., and the Florida Foster Care Review Project. He has also volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and The United Way of Dade County. Because of his community involvement, he was selected to carry the Olympic Torch on its way through Miami on the Fourth of July 1996.  He is active in the Boy Scouts of American with his son Erik.
